Someone reportedly threw eggs at a thrift store, tossed food all over the porch and parking lot and possibly rummaged through donations that had been dropped off, leaving a huge mess.

Kalispell Police Department received another report about an egging from a teen who alleged that girls were trying to jump her and wouldn’t let her leave a location in her vehicle. When she was able to leave the intimidators got into a dark blue Toyota Tacoma and red pickup and began following her vehicle and throwing eggs. Then, they pulled in front of her vehicle and stopped in front of the hospital. The harassment had reportedly been going on for months.

An officer explained the gravity of false 911 calls diverting emergency resources to a group of children and two mothers after a prank call. On the call, dispatch heard kids arguing about a phone being taken. A boy was reportedly heard saying, “Someone shot me,” and he needed an ambulance when the call disconnected. There was no answer on the callback. Several children ran up to the responding officer, telling them it was a misunderstanding. One child said someone who took their phone was responsible.

The owner of a tow truck company complained about a man standing on a corner using a bullhorn to yell, cuss, name-call and flip off tow truck drivers daily. Officers contacted the boss who was not looking to press charges at this time and would try gathering more details, but said if it happened again, “He would take matters into his own hands and everyone would be going to jail.” The officer told him that was not a wise decision and to call the police instead.

Officers received another call about the megaphone man who was reportedly screaming “vulgar things” involving “shoving things in places” in the vicinity of children.
