A Plentywood Drive resident in Kalispell was “freaked out” after reportedly finding a random truck parked in their driveway after officers had already been to the scene that morning to deal with another incident involving a screaming woman on their porch. Flathead County Sheriff’s Office was unable to locate the registered owner of the truck and secured the vehicle.
In another incident on Plentywood Drive, a woman who reported her car stolen last week told officers she got it back, but it allegedly had been stolen again from the purported “drug house” on Fourth Avenue West.
A man alleged his wife sent topless photos to an individual online and that person was trying to extort them for money and additional photos. The man reportedly told officers she had given approximately $45,000 to the unknown suspect in Africa and that her bank called to see if it was fraudulent, but she authorized the payments. He was advised to close all existing social media and bank accounts and open new ones.
A strange man was allegedly sitting on someone’s stairs on Bernard Road in Kalispell and they wanted him moved along.
A woman on Hutton Ranch Road in Kalispell reportedly discovered her credit card had been stolen when she got texts from the credit card company that someone tried to charge more than $400 on it and it was declined. She said it was also used twice at a bar.
A dog dialed 911 after reportedly jumping on its owner’s phone while he was driving on Business Center Loop in Kalispell.
A woman who reportedly caused issues for a property caretaker is now not welcome at about 17 stores in the vicinity of U.S. 93 and Hutton Ranch Road, according to Kalispell Police Department.
