Bigfork’s Thorness, Schmit on North roster for All-Star Football Game

Bigfork’s Brady Thorness and Luke Schmit will play for the North today in the annual Class B Big Sky All-Star Football Game at Rocky Mountain College in Billings.

Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Herb Klindt Field.

The series is tied at 15-games each after the South won last year’s contest 25-12.

Participating players are graduating seniors.

Thorness is a 6-foot-3, 190-pound tight end/defensive end and Schmit is a 5-10, 175, a wide receiver/safety.

Both players were all-conference selections.

Missoula Loyola and Florence have the most players on the North roster with four each. Fairfield and Conrad are next with three apiece.

Pat Duchien of Florence is the head coach of the North.

The South head coach is JV Moody of Big Timber.
