C-Falls still alive, Polson 4th at Western A

DILLON — Polson punched its ticket to the state tournament with its fourth place finish at the Western A Divisional Tournament in Dillon on Friday.

Polson beat Stevensville earlier that day.

Columbia Falls dropped to Corvallis in the semis and will face Butte Central in the third place game today. The winner plays Corvallis in the championship.

Each team is headed to the state tournament on Nov. 14-16 but final placings will determine how seeding will play out.

Play concludes today with the third place game at 10 a.m. and the championship at noon.
