Eureka spikers fall in loser out play at Western B

EUREKA — The Eureka Lions volleyball season ended with a loss to Deer Lodge in loser out play at the second day of the Western B Divisional tournament in Eureka on Friday.

Deer Lodge beat Mission in loser out play Friday morning before playing Eureka but fell to Anaconda in the fourth place game later in the day.

Anaconda will face Thompson Falls in the third place game. The winner will face Florence in the championship game.

Florence punched its ticket to state and beat Thompson Falls in the semifinal.

Play continues today with the third place game at 10 a.m. and the championship at 11:45 a.m.

The top two teams advance to the state tournament in Bozeman on Nov. 14-16.
