Judy Cathryne Stewart, 61

Judy Cathryne Stewart, 61, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2009, at her residence in Kalispell. She was born on May 19, 1947, in Anaconda to Ray and Georgia Finley.

Judy spent her childhood and early adult years in Anaconda. She was a care giver most of her life. After receiving her LPN's license, she worked at Butte Hope Center and then at Warm Springs Mental Hospital.

In 1980, she moved with her husband and three children to Kalispell, where she devoted all her time to being a full-time mother. She also volunteered with the local hospice center. She later moved to Washington state where she worked at the Rainier School State Hospital.

She enjoyed time spent at family get-togethers and trips to the ocean.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jim Finley; sister, Shirley Davis; niece, Heidi Yelsa; half brother, Frank; and the love of her life, Keith Stewart.

She is survived by her daughter, Denise Stewart, of Kalispell; son, Josh Stewart, and wife, Lena, of Kalispell; son, Blair Stewart, and wife, Chris, of Billings; sister, Bev Stark, and her husband, Fred, of Kent, Wash.; grandchildren, Olivia Shultz, Zaybin Stewart, Tyven Stewart and Chandler Stewart; along with lifelong best friend Carol Harbin; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Judy will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Cutler officiating.
