Margaret Louise Engberg, 89

Margaret Louise Engberg, 89, died June 1, 2013, of natural causes at Brendan House.

She was born Aug. 27, 1923, in Kalispell to Clifford and Lena Haines.

She graduated from Flathead County High School and attended the University of Montana in Missoula.

Margaret moved to Seattle to work in 1944. She married Ernie Engberg. They owned and operated steak houses in Idaho and East Glacier.

Margaret loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, prospecting and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Haines; mother, Lena Haines; daughter, Heather Dunlap; and brother, William Haines.

Margaret is survived by her brother, John Haines.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 8, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home.
