Who's paying for water compact ads?

Frank Garner, Republican House member from Kalispell, wants to identify all so-called “Dark Money.” The Democrats who have been so vocally against “Dark Money,” especially that which they think the “Koch brothers” are for and/or support conservative causes, have not said a word about who is funding all these TV ads to approve the Salish and Kootenai water compact. 

Maybe it’s OK for liberal causes. The ads on TV don’t say where the money is coming from, and I don’t think the five or six farmers/ranchers shown in the ads are using their own money. —Dexter Hamilton, Kalispell
