LaVera Foster, 64
LaVera Foster, 64, of Kalispell, died April 7, 2015, after a short and furious battle with leukemia. She passed surrounded by love with her family by her side.
She was born to Merrill and Nellie Mae Tripp (now deceased), Sept. 15, 1950, in Moscow, Idaho. She graduated from Eureka High School.
She married the love of her life, Ron Foster, in 1968. Together they lived a full, happy and action-filled life. LaVera was passionate about family, sewing, the outdoors and photography. She loved to hike hundreds of miles each summer in Glacier Park. She will be best remembered by her feisty spirit, generosity, sense of humor and loving nature.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Ron Foster; and three children, and spouses, Debie and Jon Paynter of Vancouver, Washington, Tony Foster of Creston, and Tiffany and Pat Weber of Salt Lake City. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
Instead of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
A memorial service will be held this summer.
