It is time for a third political party
After listening to Hillary Clinton be so economic with the truth, it would make a pathological liar look like a pontiff!
Where is the outrage? It won’t come from her party. They will do every thing they can to stay in power. Nixon had 18 minutes on a tape that was erased and was run out of office. The only way that she can even come close to being transparent is to have a qualified independent third party investigate what is on her email server. What was deleted by whom, what, when, and why! I find it hard to believe the Secret Service had anything to do with the server being that Hillary has not put them high on her list of friends.
Republicans are sounding like Democrats and proposing bills that sound as if they came out of New York or California in this state. Again I feel they will do anything to keep their party in power. With the Democrats and the Republican fighting to keep their party in power, what happens to the average American and citizens of Montana? Most likely taking it in the tank!!
When both parties decide to put interests of the country ahead of the party interests, this country may once again be great if it is not too late. Until then we need to abolish both parties and start a third party, one that will hold politicians to the same standards of law and to the Constitution that they take an oath to uphold. We don’t need parties that disregard the laws as they see fit or use every loophole they can to look slick to the youth of this nation. What happened to role models?
Consider Harry Reid’s admission that he outright lied about Mitt Romney and taxes, and he thinks it is cute. What a role model for the young generation! No wonder we are in trouble.
Politicians, from the president on down, want respect and in some cases demand respect. Well I think respect is earned, and I don’t give it unless it is earned!
What is really troubling is that when I was in law enforcement, if I had lied under oath I would have never been able to testify in court again or even have a job. From the president and legislators on down, public officers should be held to a higher standard.
If you broke the law, do you think you could stand in front of a judge and say, “Gee I am sorry I didn’t know I was breaking the law, so I will just go home and promise I won’t do it again, and you can take my word for it.”
It is time for a third party; time to dump the other two and make America great again. Just a thought! —Russell Bush, Kalispell
