Wolfpack boys, Bravettes win Glacier Invite

Sam Ells lowered his personal record Wednesday while leading the Glacier Wolfpack to the team win at its own Glacier Invite cross country meet at Rebecca Farm.
The meet was basically a dual with Flathead, though Cut Bank had some individual boys’ racers. Glacier’s boys edged Flathead 25-30, with Ells finishing well ahead of the back in 16 minutes, 17.48 seconds. Flathead’s Gabriel Felton ran his season-best, 17:16.31, while finishing second. Glacier’s Jeff Lillard and Andrew Turner finished 3-4 while Reilly Johnson and Aden Kleinhenz went 5-6 for Flathead.
Flathead dominated the girls’ dual, winning 15-50. Lilli Rumsey Eash (19:55.07 -- well off her PR of 19:14.0) led a 1-through-8 Bravette finish. Hannah Deck of Glacier was ninth.
