Stillwater soccer ties, falls in Idaho

BONNERS FERRY, Idaho - The Stillwater Christian Cougars were outshot 22-9 but managed to keep the Bonners Ferry Badgers out of the net and forge a 0-0 tie in high school soccer Thursday.

Coach Kristie Birkenstock credited the defensive backfield of senior Marae Tintzman and freshman Alex Hudson for having strong games.

The Cougars are 0-1-1 and will face Bonners Ferry again in Kalispell at noon on Sept. 19.

BONNERS FERRY, Idaho - Clayton Cole-Tinkham scored twice to bring Stillwater Christian to 4-2 at halftime Friday, but the Cougars still dropped the match to a talented Badger squad.
