MISSOULA - The Flathead Bravettes had their chances Saturday at the Rattlesnake Fields, but a missed penalty kick and other miscues added up to a 1-0 loss to Missoula Hellgate in Western AA soccer.

Flathead had an even tougher time with the unbeaten Hellgate boys, dropping a 10-2 decision.

The girls’ match saw Flathead outshoot the Knights 10-6 but fall to 3-3-2.

“It’s disappointing that we are not finding the net,” Flathead coach Bledy Doda said. “Same thing that happened in crosstown (a 1-0 loss to Glacier) -- we create, create and create and we are not finishing.

“We’re going to keep working and get to that point where we find the goal.”

Hellgate’s girls improved to 4-2-2. Flathead’s next action is Thursday at Helena Capital.
