If you weren’t sure who won the 2021 NCAA women’s 3-point championship, you only needed to look at Montana State coach Tricia Binford’s twitter timeline.

“Final round @ToriMartell #Winner!” Binford tweeted, behind 22 flame emojis — one for each three the Bobcat southpaw guard hit in the final round of competition.

Martell hit 17 threes in the first round — second only to Abilene Christian’s Anna McLeod — and 19 in the semifinals, tied with McLeod.

The nursing major finished her career with the third-most 3-pointers in MSU history, 211. She shot 41.3 percent from the arc in 2020-21.

The competition was broadcast nationally on ESPN2.
