Glacier boys netters sweep Helena schools

Glacier’s Rory Smith and Ethan Purdy each won twice and the Wolfpack boys swept all its singles matches while beating Helena and Helena Capital by 7-1 scores in duals Saturday at Flathead Valley Community College.

The Wolfpack girls had less luck, losing to Helena 5-3 and Capital 7-1.

Madi Bartlett was the lone winner in girls’ singles for Glacier, while the doubles team of Nicole Mitchell and Maddie Johnson won both their matches.

Glacier’s Will Rudbach came up a winner in singles against the Capital boys and in doubles alongside Trey Engellant in doubles against Helena.
