Homer-happy Wolfpack sweeps Great Falls schools

Kynzie Mohl backed her one pitching with a grand slam and Sammie Labrum hit two home runs in Glacier’s second game Friday as the Wolfpack swept Great Falls Russell and Great Falls.

Mohl’s grand slam in the second inning staked the Pack to a 6-0 lead over the Rustlers, and the held them off 9-7 in the first game at Glacier High School. Mohl pitched six-plus innings, fanning one.

Lambrum and Kenadie Goudette each drove in two; Goudtte had a triple and Labrum had three hits including a double.

In the second game Glacier used a four-run sixth to down the Great Falls Bison 10-7. Labrum’s second homer, a two-run shot, and Goudette’s two-run double keyed the inning.

Ella Farrell won a game in relief of Mohl, pitching four innings. She allowed four hits and a walk and fanned three.
