RONAN — A seven-run inning brought Ronan even, and Haylie Webster’s RBI single in the sixth pushed the Maidens past Columbia Falls 10-9 Thursday in a Northwest A softball battle.

Ally Mock’s three-run double was the key blow in Roan’s big fourth-inning, in which seven straight Maidens reached base with two out. Mock’s double cut an early 9-1 deficit to 9-8, and Kaira Sherman’s triple brought home Mock with the tying run.

Mock also scored the go-ahead run after a leadoff single in the sixth.

Columbia Falls was up big thanks to a six-run second: Abbie Darsow hit a bases-loaded triple in that inning, after Alyssa Blankenship had a three-run homer in the first.
