Twins win Sapa-Johnsrud tournament
WHITEFISH — Stevyn Andrachick doubled on his first at-bat in Sunday’s Sapa-Johnsrud tournament championship game, scoring one run and giving the Glacier Twins a lead they wouldn’t relinquish.
The Twins claimed an 8-4 victory over the Spokane Expos at Memorial Field.
Glacier outhit the Expos, 10-8, with Mason Peters, Zach Veneman and Jacob Polumbus each recording multiple hits.
George Robbins picked up the win for the Twins. He allowed six hits and five runs over five innings, striking out six and walking one.
