Aaron Crutsinger’s bases-loaded triple knotted the score and Haiden Bunyea’s bases-loaded walk gave the Kalispell A Lakers the lead for good in an 11-8 win over Libby in Legion baseball late Tuesday.

The win gave the Lakers (20-23) a split of the Western A doublehead; Libby (15-23) won the first game at Griffin Field 11-1.

Crutsinger’s shot to center came in the midst of a 6-run outburst by the Lakers (20-23), who trailed 5-0 early and 8-5 going into the sixth. He scored to put Kalispell up 9-8 via walks to Odin Erickson and Bunyea, wrapped around Henry Smith getting hit by a pitch.

Fletcher Postlewait followed with an RBI single to score Erickson, and Smith scored on a passed ball to make it 11-8.

In all 11 Lakers came to the plate, collecting three walks (one intentional), two HBPs, an error and three hits.

In the third inning singles by Smith, Postlewait and Adam Nikunen, along with a double by Brennen, helped the Lakers knot the game at 5-all. All their hits came with two out.

James Moody picked up the win in relief, with 31/3 innings of hitless relief. He walked two and struck out five.

An RBI double by Hunter Hoover capped a 3-run third inning that gave the Loggers a 5-0 lead, and a 3-run double by Aydan Williamson put Libby back in front, 8-5, in the fourth.
