SHERIDAN, Wyo. — Alex Germer scored 25 points and fellow Missoula Sentinel alum Tony Frohlich-Fair added 23 as the Montana All-Stars beat Wyoming boys 109-104 Friday night.

The win was the 17th straight for Montana in this lopsided series, which the Treasure State leads 62-27.

Germer got the better of his duel with fellow Montana State signee Sam Lecholat of Sheridan High; the Wyoming All-Star had 14 points and missed a game-tying three in the final seconds.

Great Falls High’s Levi Torgerson snared the rebound, was fouled and hit two free throws with a second remaining.

Germer’s total included a 15-for-17 performance at the line. Frohlich-Fair forced a key turnover, then fed Great Falls’ Drew Wyman for his third dunk of the game to put Montana up 107-104.

Wyman had 18 points. Levi Torgerson of Great Falls and Billings Skyview’s Cam Ketchum had 10 each. Gillette’s Luke Hladky scored 22 points to lead Wyoming, and Camel teammate Jefferson Neary added 16.

The teams battled again late Saturday at Lockwood High School.
