WHITEFISH — Stevyn Andrachick doubled, tripled and threw three innings of no-hit ball as the Glacier Twins downed Clark Fork 13-2 in Class A American Legion action Wednesday.

George Robbins had three hits, drove in three runs and scored three times for the Twins, who opened the floodgates after the Riverdogs closed to 4-2 in the fourth inning.

Robbins had a two-run single and Danny Dunn had knocked home another run during Glacier’s three-run fourth; Mason Peters added an RBI single that put the Twins up 8-2 in the fifth, and Josiah Ruther’s double keyed a five-run sixth.

The Riverdogs draw from Thompson Falls, Plains, Hot Springs and Superior; it’s the first Sanders County-based Legion-level team in 20 years.

Kody Carter and Trevor Harris had RBI singles in the fourth for the Riverdogs.

Andrachick also threw the first three innings, allowing just one base runner, via walk, and striking out three.
