C-Falls splits tennis duals with Libby

COLUMBIA FALLS — Columbia Falls split a pair of tennis duals against Libby Thursday, with a 5-2 win by the boys and a 5-2 loss from the girls.

Columbia Falls’ Niels Getts beat Michael Hollingsworth in straight sets (6-2, 6-1) at No. 1 boys singles and Hannah Schweikert did the same at No. 1 girls, defeating Libby’s Laneigha Zeiler 6-0, 6-0.

Abbey Biel was Columbia Falls’ only other girls singles winner, taking down Bella Covington in three sets.

Libby swept the girls’ doubles matches.

The Wildcats’ No. 1 boys doubles pair of Cade Morgan and Cody Schweikert beat Colton Halvorson and Ryan Collins 6-2, 6-1. Dale Blickham and Nico Lang topped Libby’s Trever Collins and Cylis Goddard 6-2, 6-0 and Logan Hueple and Finley Sundberg dispatched Zach Fantozzi and Thomas Roark in three sets.
