Prep football: Whitefish, Libby, Bigfork and Eureka roll
RONAN — Fynn Ridgeway rushed for 125 yards and two scores, and threw for two scores as well while Whitefish beat Ronan 43-13 in Western A football action Friday.
Ridgeway was 8-for-15 passing for 145 yards, with scoring strikes of 50 yards to Clayton Godsey and 9 yards to Mason Kelch.
On the ground, he had touchdown runs of 1 and 40 yards. Ty Schwaiger added scoring runs of 1 and 18 yards, and ended with 62 yards on 11 carries.
Caleb Cheff had a short TD run and a 7-yard scoring pass to supply both touchdowns for Ronan (1-4).
Dane Hunt added an interception for the Bulldogs (5-1).

LIBBY — Cy Stevenson ran for two touchdowns and caught a scoring pass Friday, leading Libby over Browning in Western A action.
Stevenson ran eight times for 77 yards, including TD runs of 3 and 14 yards.
Trevor Collins was 7-for-9 passing for 80 yards for the Loggers (3-3 overall, 3-2 in league). Most of the yards came on scoring passes to Cy Williams (43 yards) and Stevenson (22).
Aidan Agre-Braun and Connor Benson added scoring runs for Libby.
Jamerson Lazy Boy scored for Browning (0-6).

ANACONDA — Tristen Herd threw five touchdown passes and Bigfork held Anaconda’s offense to 1 yard in a Western B game.
Hered completed 12 of 18 passes for 214 yards. Bryce Giulliard and Isak Epperly each hauled in two scoring passes,
Nick Walker added three catches for 86 yards for the Vikings (5-0 overall, 2-0 in league), who rolled up 352 yards of offense on just 35 snaps. Walker led the defense with seven tackles, and two sacks.
Joseph Farrier also caught a TD pass and also scored the game’s first TD on a 6-yard run.
Anaconda fell to 1-4, 0-2 in league.

MISSOULA — Tristan Butts caught a 71-yard touchdown pass and threw for another score in Eureka’s 21-point second quarter, and the Lions went on to beat Missoula Loyola in Western B action Friday.
Butts, who had a 9-yard TD run in the fourth quarter, ran 17 times for 113 yards, He was 2-for-6 passing for 26 yards.
Haiden Johnson added 105 yards on 12 carries for the Lions (4-2 overall, 1-1 in league), while Remington Little ran 11 times for 69 yards. Each scored once.
Loyola’s Talen Reynolds ran 25 times for 156 yards and had the lone touchdown for the Rams (3-3, 1-1).
