Tuesday seemed less than optimal for a fast track meet, but plenty of impressive marks were put up at the Kalispell Time Trials held at Legends Stadium.

Take the Whitefish trio of Brooke Zetooney (12.87 seconds), Hailey Ells (13.2) and Rachael Wilmot (13.22): They went 1-2-3 in the girls 100 meters and now sit first, third and fourth in the Class A ranks this spring.

Ells also ran her best 300 hurdles time of the season, 48.54, and is second in A. She, Wilmot, Kristian Shestak and Zetooney also lowered their Class A-best 400 relay time to 50.52.

Norah Schmidt subbed in for Shestak and the Bulldogs crept to .13 seconds of the top 1,600-relay time, clocking 4:12.50. Schmidt also went 33 feet, 5 inches in the triple jump to land fourth in the A ranks.

Nor did the breezy, cool conditions seem to bother the Flathead Bravettes.

Bailey Wride (2:29.82) and Mikenna Conan (2:30.50) of Flathead both ran PRs in the 800 and surged into the top 10 in AA. Lilly Rumsey Eash edged down her 1,600 time, which is still second in AA.

Peyton Walker, Madi Gilchrist, Kelcy Copping and Alivia Rinehart clocked 50.99 in the 400 relay, their season best by .51; the Bravettes flanked Mikenna Conan and Bailey Wride with Rinehart and Walker and lowered their long relay time to 4:17.86, fourth in AA.

Tali Miller’s heave of 122 feet, 9 inches in the javelin was a career best; she stays No. 5 in AA.

Flathead’s Kennedy Moore is the first AA girl to clear 5-4 in the high jump.

Mia Stephan (34-4.5) and Rylee Thompson (33-5.5) both hit season highs in the triple; Stephan met the AA qualifying standard and sits fifth in the AA ranks.

Glacier’s Karys Camp (17-0) became the fifth AA girl to go 17 feet in the long jump this spring; Flathead’s Akilah Kubi marked 16-9 and sits sixth.

Glacier’s Kai Johnson threw a season-best 37-11 to move up to No. 2 in AA in the shot put; her teammate Ella Halliberton (9-8) is now tied for 10th in the discus.

Bigfork’s Scout Nadeau marked 37-7 in the shot put, which is the best in Class B.

The Valkyries’ Zoey Albert (116-1) and Madison Chappius (114-7) are now ranked 1-2 in the B javelin; Emma Pouwers (16-4) and Inga Turner now sit 4-5 in the long jump.

Libby’s Rylee Boltz cleared 5-2 and leads Class A in the high jump; Logger teammate Bergen Fortner (16-0.25) and Boltz (15-10) now sit 2-3 in the class in the long jump.

On the boys side, Flathead’s Brody Thornsberry went 21-11 to unofficially take over the AA lead in the long jump; Jeff Lillard of Glacier marked 21-1.5, which meets the State AA qualifying standard and ranks No. 3 in AA.

The Flathead quartet of Taylor Dana, Ben Bliven, Trevor Burke and Thornsberry ran a quick, 44.85 400 relay; that put the Braves No. 7 in AA.

Glacier’s Alex Hausmann ran a personal-best 43.69 in the 300 hurdles to sneak into AA’s top 10. The Wolfpack’s Caleb Brannan (41-5) and Brantly Salmonson (40-8.25) hit personal bests in the triple jump and also flew into the top 10 in AA.

The Wolfpack’s Tyler Avery ran a season best 2:01.87 in the 800, No. 5 in AA.

Whitefish’s Deneb Linton (10:18.10) and Nate Ingelfinger (10:27.90) now sit 3-4 in 3,200 in A.

Columbia Falls Adam Schrader clocked 43.03 in the 300 hurdles, fourth in Class A. Wildcats Jack Phelps, Finley Sundberg, Schrader and Jace Duval clocked 3:37.06 in the long relay, No. 3 in Class A.

Lane Voermans threw 135-2 in the discus to move up to third in Class A in that event. Duval’s 20-4 in the long jump is No. 4 in Class A.

Bigfork freshman Austin Savik clocked 45.67 in the 300 hurdles, fourth-best in Class B; teammate Levi Peterson’s long jump of 19-10 is second in B.
