Ostyn Brennan had a game — really, a day — and the Kalispell AA Lakers swept a pair of mercy rule-shortened Legion games from Cranbrook, British Columbia Sunday at Griffin Field.

Brennan threw a five-inning one-hitter in the first game, a 12-0 win, and helped his own cause with a double, triple, two runs batted in and two runs scored.

Brennan allowed one walk and hit a batter while striking out eight on the hill. Joey Thatcher drove in four runs for the Lakers; Kyne Vojta scored three times.

In the second game the Lakers (5-1) scored 13 first-inning runs and rolled, 18-5.

Andre Cephers started on the mound and allowed one hit in his three innings of work, with one walk and two strikeouts.

Max Holden 2-for-2 with a triple and four runs scored for the Lakers; Brennan hit another double and scored three times in the nightcap. Carter Schlegel, Oscar Kallis, Thatcher and Collin Leonard all scored twice.
