C-Falls’ Hill scores 1,000th point in win

LEWISTOWN — Senior guard Jace Hill scored 14 points, including his 1,000th career point, and Columbia Falls scored a 69-24 rout of Glendive at the Lewistown Tip-Off Friday.

Hill crossed the 1,000-point barrier early in the fourth quarter and tied teammate Cody Schweikert for game scoring honors. Schweikert also grabbed six rebounds.

Dayne Tu added 11 points and Mark Robison 10 for the Wildkats, who took advantage of 21 Red Devil turnovers while committing just five.

HAMILTON — Maurice Redhorn III scored 21 points, nine coming in the fourth quarter to help Browning pull away from Hardin at the Hamilton Tip-Off tournament.

Tommy Running Rabbit scored nine fourth-quarter points as well for the Indians, and finsiehd with 12. Thomas Young Running Crane added 10 points.

HAVRE — Shane Patacsil led a balanced Havre attack with 15 points, and the Blue Ponies pulled away in the second half to beat Whitefish on their home floor.
