All humans are invited to Area 406 Music and Arts Festival

The third annual Area 406 Music and Arts Festival returns to planet Earth for two days of electronic dance music June 30 and July 1.

Tickets are on sale now for the two-day event which will feature three stages of performers. This year’s lineup includes Grammy Award-winning dubstep act Nero, DJ Dan, Megan Hamilton, Ahee and Au5.

There will be a silent disco, art installations, food trucks and a vendor village. For the silent disco, participants will be given wireless headphones to select from three different DJs performing simultaneously.

Festival-goers are encouraged to dress in alien and space-themed outfits and help light up the night with their favorite flow art props, such as hoops, poi (tethered weights) and batons, which may incorporate LEDs, however, open flames and fireworks are prohibited.

The festival is open to ages 18 and up and will be held at the Flathead County Fairgrounds. Camping, (car, RV or tent) will be available and may be reserved at an additional charge to festival passes. This includes four attendees per vehicle or six per RV. Each person must have purchased festival tickets. Check-in opens at noon Friday, June 30. Campers need to check out by 1 p.m. Sunday, July 2.

Two-day passes are $89.99. Single-day tickets are also available for purchase including a special four-person “party pass,” which covers camping and admission.
