Girls hoops: Vals downs Whitefish, move to 9-1
WHITEFISH — Ave Davey scored 18 points, eight coming in a tone-setting first quarter by Bigfork in the Valkyries' 64-16 girls basketball win at Northwest A rival Whitefish Friday.
Four players reached double figures for the Vals, who are 9-1 overall and 4-0 in Northwest A games: Braeden Gunlock had 16, Paeten Gunlock added 12 — she had both of her team’s 3-pointers — and Gemballa added 10.
