Braves comeback bid falls short against Butte

Hudson Luedtke scored 13 points,including a perfect 5-5 from the foul line as Butte held off Flathead’s late comeback attempt to win 63-54 in Western AA boys basketball.

Gabe Sims and Korbin Eaton each chipped in 11 for the Braves (0-8, 0-4 in conference), who trailed 48-26 heading into the fourth quarter. Lyric Ersland added 10 points for Flathead.

Topher Lee added 12 points for the Bulldogs (4-4, 2-2), who jumped out to an early 21-9 lead after one quarter.
