FVCC art faculty featured in exhibition

The work of Flathead Valley Community College art faculty is featured in a special exhibition at the Wanda Hollensteiner Art Gallery.

The gallery inside the Wachholz College Center on the campus of FVCC is spotlighting artists and the corresponding subjects they teach as part of the display. 

The exhibition premieres Wednesday, Jan. 31 with an opening reception with the artists from 5-7 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public. 

Arts featured include Troy Case, art/ceramics; Marita Combs, photography; Wanelle Fitch, photography; Charity Flowers, drawing, painting, sculpture; Susan Guthrie, drawing, painting; Doug Harling, jewelry arts and metalsmithing; Karen Kolar, jewelry design; Karen Leigh, watercolor painting; Jennifer Li, painting and drawing; Larry Phan, ceramics; David Regan, ceramics, ceramics sculpture; Tom Semple, drawing, painting; Edgar Smith, art history; and Jemima Farbstein Watstein, art history.  

The exhibition will be available for viewing to the public through Wednesday, March 13. The gallery is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 4 p.m. and during WCC showtimes for patrons with tickets to WCC performances.
