Wildkats overpower Whitefish girls
COLUMBIA FALLS — Onnika Lawrence had nine points and 10 rebounds for Columbia Falls, and the Wildkats pulled away to beat Northwest A girls basketball rival 55-14 Tuesday.
Taryn Borgan scored a game-high 14 points and Kierra Kemppainen grabbed another nine boards for the Wildkats (5-8 overall, 4–3 in the Northwest A), who ruled the glass 44-24.
Ainsley Scott had eight points for Whitefish (4-8, 1-5 in league).
The boys and girls games were rescheduled from Jan. 13, when bad weather postponed games through Northwest Montana.
They play again Friday night in Whitefish.
