Heavy Runner lifts Browning girls over Ronan
BROWNING — Shaylee Heavy Runner poured in 27 points, eight during a Browning third-quarter blitz, and the Lady Indians handed Ronan its first Northwest A girls basketball loss Saturday, 62-50.
Heavy Runner was 5 of 9 from 3-point range and 11 of 22 from the floor overall. She hit two threes in the third quarter as Browning (3-6 overall, 1-2 in league) padded a 27-24 halftime lead out to 46-26.
