Hellgate girls overcome Glacier’s hot start
MISSOULA — Glacier’s girls had the flying start Thursday, but it was Missoula Hellgate that got things going in the second and third quarters of a 57-50 Western AA girls basketball win.
Reese Ramey scored 23 points to lead the Wolfpack (5-6 overall, 3-3 in league), pouring in 18 after halftime including her second hoop-and-harm of the game.
Karley Allen scored 17 points in the first half and had 11 points while Glacier took a 16-8 lead after one quarter. But Hellgate (6-4, 4-2 in league), led by Elly Reed’s 18 points, outscored the Pack 38-20 over the middle two quarters.
