Karyl Gasser, 81
Karyl Hills Gasser, 81, passed away on June 5. She was born on March 18, 1945 in Danbury, Wisconsin to Reva Mae (Imme) Hills and Milas James Hills.
In 1948 the family moved to White Sulphur Springs, Montana as part of a multi-family logging operation. WSS is where Karyl attended school and graduated from high school in 1963. She worked for the Vollstedt Lumber Mill for about one year.
She moved to Billings, MT in 1964 and worked at the Billings Clinic for 15 years. In 1979 she moved to Whitefish and worked at North Valley Hospital for over 20 years.
In 1982, she met Dennie Gasser. After a short courtship of 13 1/2 years, they married in Coeur d’Alene, ID and moved to Village Greens in Kalispell.
She was preceded in death by Dennie, her Mother and Father, and brother Milas Jay (Ann) Hills.
She is survived by brothers Gordon (Susan) Hills of Billings and Martin (Claudia) Hills of Spokane Valley, Wash., and five nieces and nephews.
At Karyl’s request there will be no services.
