Kathryn M. Lapp, 93

Kathryn Marie (Brenneman) Lapp, 93, passed away on Saturday, June 6 at home. She was born on December 4, 1932 in Tofield, Alberta to Daniel and Mary (Kauffman) Brenneman. The family moved to Creston in 1943. 

Kathryn attended school at Creston to the eighth grade. Upon completion of school, she worked as a telephone operator in Creston and then later in Hungry Horse. She married George Lapp on December 28, 1951. They lived in Columbia Falls on the family farm for 58 years where they raised their seven children.  

Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, George (2009), her son, Ron (2012), her parents, her sister (Bertha) and one brother (Clifford). She is survived by six children, Lois Lutke (Duane) of Polson, Bonnie Clemmer (Duane) of Bechtelsville, Pa., Sharon Hooley (Dwight) of Kalispell, Charles (Mickey) of Columbia Falls, Beverly Eash (David) of Middlebury, Ind., Janice Bodenbender (Brian) of Holland, Mich.; twenty grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and one brother, Delbert (Lola) Brenneman.  

Funeral services for Kathryn will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 13, at the Mountain View Mennonite Church with Brad Hooley officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Chapel.
