County Republicans censure former commissioner candidate Jack Fallon
The county Republican Central Committee passed a resolution formally censuring Fallon from the group for engaging in “actions not befitting the principles of the Republican Party.”

Jack Fallon, who lost a bid for a spot on the ballot during the primary election in June, has registered as a write-in candidate in the Flathead County commissioner race. Incumbent Republican Pam Holmquist, who is running for a third term, is the only candidate to appear on the ballot as no Democrats filed for the position. Election Day is Nov. 8.

Fallon plans to apply volunteer, financial experience to county spot
Jack Fallon is looking to parlay his decades of community involvement into a seat on the Flathead County Commission. The 68-year-old has served on the Evergreen Water and Sewer Board, the Evergreen Fire District Board, and the Kalispell School District Board and while also volunteering with youth and adult recreation leagues.
