Knudsen petitions Supreme Court to reverse rulings in homelessness cases
Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen joined his colleagues on Monday in asking the U.S. Supreme Court to reverse a lower court’s decisions that place restrictions on local governments’ efforts to crack down on homeless encampments.

Kalispell City Council approved the second reading of a package of ordinances placing new restrictions on the use of public parks and related facilities at its Tuesday meeting.

Kalispell approves restrictions for park facilities use
Following some debate, Council signed off on the ordinances that would limit an individual’s “excessive personal property” at public facilities, ban the erection of structures on public property and limit the time an individual could use covered park structures without a permit.
