The applicant proposes to place approximately 550 cubic yards of soil within the regulated floodplain of West Spring Creek. The application indicates the fill will extend from between 25 feet and 70 feet to the edge of West Spring Creek to raise the elevation approximately one to two feet to complete a LOMR-F and gain more area for a proposed drain field. The project is located at 24 Big Sky Blvd and can legally be described as Lot 8 in Big Sky Homesites Add 1 in Section 12, Township 28 North, Range 22 West, P.M.M., Flathead County, Montana.
