After children were safely evacuated, a man allegedly refused to leave a room full of smoke until he rescued his guns.

Two men allegedly got into an argument over a woman in an RV at Woodland Park. When one man wanted the other to leave so he could sleep, the argument turned into threats of beating each other up. One of the men then reportedly pulled out a machete, threatening to use it, which he denied to Kalispell Police, and the other man quickly “spritzed” him pepper spray, getting it into an eye. Neither wanted to pursue anything other than going their own way.

The property manager of an apartment complex along the bike path called officers alleging that someone hung dead animals on a fence, which was ruined, and were using trees on the property to light fires.

A resident was suspicious of a man allegedly staring at the ground in an alley. When they told him to leave he walked one house away and stopped where he continued staring at the ground, then picked up a pebble to stare at. The resident was concerned he was on drugs. He claimed to be rock hunting in the wilds of Kalispell’s alleys and neighborhoods.

A man wanted to know if he could climb through the window of a property his ex leased because he used to live there and wanted to get his belongings after their recent breakup, but his key no longer worked. He was advised about the civil standby and civil court process.

Officers responded to a call about a younger female with a black eye and scratched hand, who looked uncomfortable and scared while eating with an older man wearing a green shirt with polka dots who was watching her intently and in any direction she looked.

A man with his hair in a ponytail reportedly stood outside a woman’s workplace and waved, making her uncomfortable. She told police he was stalking her.
