Shirley Turner-Brown, 88

Shirley Turner-Brown, 88, was born in Sioux County, North Dakota on Dec. 17, 1935 to Redford and Helen (Weisz) Turner. There she joined two older brothers, Fred and Dutch. When she was six months old the family moved to Foothills Road in Kalispell. While there, the family expanded to include her younger siblings, Ruth, Aldon, Wayne, and George.

She remained on that family farm until she married her first husband, Pat Robuck. From that union she had four children, Patrick Robuck, Deborah Robuck-Petosky, Wyatt Robuck, and Christine Robuck. After Shirley and Pat divorced she met and married Earl Brown and they had a daughter, Earleen Brown-French. 

She was an avid gardener, quilter and loved to dance and travel.

Shirley passed away on Jan. 23, 2024. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Fred Turner, George Turner, Ruth Church and Redford “Dutch” Turner. 

She is survived by her children, and her siblings, Aldon Turner and Wayne Turner. 

Shirley’s ashes have already been laid to rest at Glacier Memorial Gardens and no memorial is planned.
