Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to a Hungry Horse home after an argument between two men resulted in a broken window. One of the men involved was dating the resident's daughter. The alleged disturbance was reported separately by the two residents who live in the home, neither of whom was present at the time. An intoxicated witness, who reportedly fell down and hurt his leg, was taken to the hospital.

Other patrons told deputies the man had been boorishly hitting on a woman in the bar, so he was taken outside and reportedly hit in the face. The man, who denied any churlish behavior, is contemplating whether or not to pursue charges.

A resident of an apartment complex on Montana 35 in Evergreen told investigators that after Flathead County sheriff's deputies left a neighboring unit, someone in a black ski mask showed up. Deputies were unable to find anything amiss but did contact the unit's occupant. The 29-year-old man agreed to deal with the matter when he got out of jail. He had been arrested on a warrant for contempt of court earlier in the day.

A passer-by in a grocery store parking lot saw a man and a woman allegedly assault an employee and try to escape with a 24-pack of beer and a basket of groceries. The woman was caught, but her partner fled. Flathead County Sheriff's deputies caught him a short while later and ticketed him on suspicion of theft, resisting arrest and probation violation.
