Glacier National Park rangers rescued two people from the Middle Fork of the Flathead River Monday afternoon after their raft flipped between the new and old bridges at West Glacier. A call for help came in to the Flathead County Sheriff's Office about 2 p.m. on Memorial Day, but park officials said rangers had the two boaters out of the water and into an ambulance for a ride to the raft company before sheriff's deputies could arrive. Other than being cold, the two people were fine, the sheriff's office said. No information was available on their ages or what caused the raft to overturn.
