Hilda M. "Ginger" Iverson, 81

Hilda M. "Ginger" Iverson, 81, of Columbia Falls, died Wednesday, March 30, 2005, in Kalispell. Ginger was born on September 30, 1923, in Nielsville, Minn., to Halvor and Anne (Waale) Skretvedt and united in marriage to Gordon Iverson of Thief River Falls, Minn., in 1944.

Ginger enjoyed life. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, always thought of others first, and had a kind word for everyone she met. Her joyful laughter will ring in our hearts forever and she will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Loving family members include three sisters Ida Solheim of Crookston, Minn., Ella and Glen Sustad of Stephen, Minn., and Thelma and Ed Berggren of Thief River Falls; four sons and a daughter; David Iverson, Jack and Jane Iverson, Richard and Gayle Skees, Jerome and Laurie Iverson, and Dennis and Darla Iverson, all of Columbia Falls; 13 grandchildren; Slade, Dara, Jeff, Jana, Angela, Erik, Kurtis, Dana, Jerome, Joshua, Antonia, Christopher and Devin; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Gertrude Skretvedt and Alice Forseth of Minnesota; her husband, Gordon; and daughter, Sharon Marie.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, at Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls with Pastor Jones officiating. A luncheon and open house will follow from I to 4 p.m. at her son's home at 140 Falcon Lane in Columbia Falls.
