Kalispell police

A birthday party turned bad for someone at Kentucky Fried Chicken on Monday when the candles on a birthday cake activated a smoke alarm and the Kalispell fire department was dispatched.

Businesses and vehicles were spray painted around town. A door on Northview Loop was hit with eggs. Two boys were seen vandalizing portable toilets and trying to start a fire in weeds at the Kids Sport complex. The door of a vehicle was kicked in at the high school.

Kalispell police arrested a woman for DUI at the Woodland Park skatepark and another driver was picked up a second DUI on First Avenue East.

At Woodland Park Monday, a boy was seen wading in the pond up to his waist and possibly carrying a plate. He was gone when Kalispell police arrived. Tuesday, an injured turkey was reported in the pond.

On Sixth Avenue West, a resident went out to smoke after midnight and heard people running away. Similar running was heard at 4 a.m. on Fourth Avenue West.

A woman reported that her boyfriend tried to throw her out on Second Street West, while on Seventh Avenue East North, a woman wanted her ex-boyfriend to leave.

A stereo was stolen from a truck on Eighth Avenue West North.

A fight was reported at Woodland Park.

Angela is the name of the suspect in a pushing and punching event on First Avenue East.
