A teenager was arrested after a friend let him use a parent's vehicle. The parent hadn't given permission for the boy to run over a stump and damage the vehicle; he was charged with felony criminal mischief and was found to be wanted on two warrants.

A driver was charged with DUI and other offenses.

A garage door was spray painted on Second Avenue West.

Someone damaged the door at Pettyjohn's water softener business and stole a bag of stamps, a computer and a digital camera.

Door-beating and yelling happened on Airport Road.

A large, black furry dog kept trying to get into a home on Sylvan Court. It wasn't Mortimer, the Basset hound, who escaped his yard from beneath a fence on Darlington Drive.

An assault was reported on College Avenue, but no one wanted to press charges. An assault on a duck was perpetrated by other ducks at Woodland Park, according to a concerned witness. It is duck breeding season, the animal warden said.
