Kalispell police investigated tools stolen out of a garage on West Washington. There was no sign of forced entry and the owner couldn't remember if the door was locked.

An alert citizen managed to stop and hold a vehicle driving recklessly through the parking lot at Wendy's. The five juveniles were counseled and may receive additional counseling in the future from responding officers.

A rash of graffiti was discovered around 11 a.m. Thursday. A sign was defaced at Lakers Field and a building was painted on Airport Road.

A resident on Seventh Avenue East found an unpleasant surprise Thursday morning. Vandals had broken into two vehicles and attempted to set one on fire.

Another resident on Third Avenue East found his locked vehicle unlocked and the contents of the car all over the sidewalk.

Police investigated a complaint of tools taken out of a truck on Second Avenue West. The owner said it was an ongoing problem.

A woman at a house on First Avenue East had a 5:40 a.m. visit from a mystery motorcycle rider who came in her front gate and up to the front door. He was gone when officers arrived.

An alert employee at Domino's Pizza called for police protection before leaving the building after midnight with the cash deposit bag. A strange car was in the parking lot.

A resident on E. Nicklaus was concerned that it wasn't the right season to hear footsteps on her roof. Officers found no one when they arrived.

A driver miscalculated the circumference of a wheelie and crashed into a parked car at Home Depot.

A disturbance was reported at the Post Office on North Meridian when a patron walked out to find her car in the middle of a repossession action.
