Kalispell police recovered a flag stolen in a mad yard-running, fence-jumping escapade in town. It was first thought to be a Confederate flag but was discovered as a Marine Corps flag.

A 1987 two-tone gray Ford F150 was reported stolen on Fifth Avenue West.

His ex-wife's boyfriend is threatening him, a man told police. More threats were reported on Second Avenue East, where two girls pounded on a door. Harassing calls were reported on Crestline Drive. Three people on a Ford Ranger reportedly almost hit a man, threatened him, and threw profanities at him. A citation followed. After a complaint about a group of teenagers with alcohol at Buffalo Hill Square Construction, one boy was charged with underage possession of alcohol. After a traffic stop on 10th Avenue West, two young men were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. It was at 4 a.m. that a vehicle on Meridian Road and U.S. 2 reportedly reached speeds of up to 80 miles per hour; two men and two girls in the car were charged.

Two boys were charged with vandalism at St. Matthew's Church. A man called police to say his wife damaged his motel room and then left town. A house on Meadows Drive was hit with eggs.

An unwelcome patron at Scotty's Bar moved on.
