Joyce Arleen Forsythe, 75, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2005, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell.

She was born April 22, 1929, in Twin Valley, Minn., to Knute and Selma (Opsahl) Knutson.

She married Richard Forsythe on Oct. 29, 1950, in Twin Valley, Minn. She worked at Glacier Bank and retired as a vice president.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Knapps and Mavis Wagner, and one brother, Vernon Knutson.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Forsythe of Lakeside; one son, Rick Forsythe and wife, Kay, of Virginia; one daughter, Jill Weigand and husband, Richard, of Kalispell; two sisters, Irma Braunschweig and Judy Pinske, both of Minnesota; three grandchildren, Danielle Garrett and husband, Nathan, of Magnolia, Ark., Erica Forysthe of Raleigh, N.C., and Amanda Weigand of Kalispell.

At her request there will be no services. Memorials can go to the charity of your choice.
