Richard D. Price, 76

Richard D. Price, 76, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2005, at his home in Kalispell.

Richard was born on Aug. 4, 1928, in Aberdeen, Wash., to Charles and Jenny Hoiland Price. The was the third of six children.

Richard joined the U.S. Army at the age of 17 where he served with the 152nd and the 82nd Airborne divisions in German and Japan.

He married Kathleen Eayrs on Sept. 20, 1953.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy, of Kalispell; two brothers and three sisters, Rev. Lamar Price of Glendale, Calif., Dr. Kenneth Price of St. Louis, Mo., Edith Spurgeon of Seattle, Jannette Studer of Walla Walla, Wash., Eunice Szymanouski of Spokane; three daughters, Jayne and her husband, Gary Hall, Vickie and her husband, Clay Turner, Brenda and her husband, Joe Purdy; five grandchildren, Matt Hall, Becky Hall Neilson, Zach Purdy, Brittney Turner, Jenny Rose Turner; and three great-grandchildren, Eli and Ella Neilson and Judah Hall.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 18, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, at the Christian Center Assembly of God Church with the Rev. John Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Glacier Memorial Gardens.
