Kalispell police responded to a call Saturday night from Canvas Back Court regarding a pit bull who was chasing a woman's kids. The dog was last seen heading West on Teal Drive. The children were seen at home.

Good Samaritan officers responded to a criminal trespass call on First Avenue West early Sunday morning and found a vehicle with its passenger door open and items scattered all over the place outside the vehicle. They returned the items to the inside of the car, secured it and then left a message on the owner's answering machine.

A 30-year old residing on Seventh Avenue was arrested Saturday night on Disorderly Conduct charges.

A 35-year old was arrested on Sunset Court late Saturday night for Partner/Family Member Assault and Resisting Arrest.

A report of a suspicious person seen hiding in a vehicle behind the fenced area of some storage units turned out not to be a problem after all. The man had been permitted by security personnel to spend the night there to stay out of the weather. Police checked that he was gone by morning.
